After a varied career in rugby league that took him from the NRL to the UK and back again, the one-time Newcastle Knights prop Craig Smith spent time, literally, in Nathan Tinkler's shadow.

As the one-time billionaire's body man, Smith - often seen outfitted in dark shades and suit - had a rare insight into the tumultuous Tinkler years at the Newcastle Knights.

This week, on Toohey's News: The Podcast, host Barry Toohey is joined by Smith to look back on his playing days, his time with Tinkler, and his life after football.
