Tommy Lee gets naked on Instagram and leaves fans stunned

Tommy Lee has sent social media into a meltdown after he shared a completely naked picture with his 1.4 million Instagram followers.

The 59-year-old musician, known for founding the Mötley Crüe, appeared unbothered about unveiling a picture of his penis in the early hours of Thursday morning.

In the image, Lee appears to be holding up the camera to take a selfie of his tattoed torso and his private parts. Alongside the X-rated image, he simply wrote: “Ooooopppsss.”

Naturally, the image has been inundated with comments from friends, fans, and even his wife, in the hours after it was shared publicly.

“OH MY GOD,” wrote Lee’s wife Brittany Furlan.

“How long will this stay up,” wrote another follower.

Another added: “Everyone’s acting surprised as if he isn’t Tommy Lee.”

Despite some of his followers expressing horror at the full frontal nude, the image remained on his Instagram profile for more than four hours despite Instagram having a “No Nudity” policy. It has since disappeared from Lee’s profile.

A representative for Lee and Instagram has been approached by the Evening Standard for comment.

Lee, who was previously married to Pamela Anderson, then followed up his naked selfie with another post featuring a cartoon elephant next to a naked man.

Known for his musical talents as the drummer of the iconic metal band, Lee shot to international fame when he married Anderson just four days after the pair met. The couple later welcomed two sons, Brandom Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee.

In 1995, the couple’s sex tape was leaked - an event that has recently been chronicled in the Hulu series Pam & Tommy.

Lee expressed his support for the new series, starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan, in a recent interview.

“I know Sebastian, he’s playing me. From what he’s told me, really beautiful story. I think a lot of people would think it’s one thing, but it’s really about privacy and how things got crazy then. There’s different laws now,” he told ET.

“The story’s actually cool, what actually happened wasn’t,” he added, “People need to know.”
