Tommy Fury confirms baby son’s unusual name after boxing win over Eddie Hall

  • Former Love Island contestants Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have announced the name of their second child, a son, as Midas.
  • Boxer Tommy Fury revealed the name during his comeback fight against Eddie Hall in Manchester, with 'Midas' displayed on his shorts and later on an England shirt.
  • After winning his fight, Fury confirmed the name to the crowd, stating, “This was for my new baby son, Midas. Welcome to the world!”
  • The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, had previously announced the birth of their second child on 3 June with a black and white Instagram photo featuring their first child, Bambi.
  • The name Midas is a reference to Greek and Roman mythology, specifically King Midas, who was granted the power to turn everything he touched into gold.
