The courtroom sketch artist who produced a now infamous drawing of Tom Brady has apologised to the NFL player for “not making him look good enough” after her drawings went viral.
Brady, who is married to the supermodel Gisele Bundchen, appeared in a New York court on Wednesday to continue thrashing out a settlement on his four-game suspension.
But while ‘Deflategate’ continued, Jane Rosenberg’s depiction of Brady dwarfed the case when it spawned hundreds of deftly Photoshoped memes, including a few examples below:

Rosenberg, who has drawn figures including Woody Allen and Martha Stewart throughout her 35-year career, was apologetic when approached by VICE Sports. “Tell Tom Brady, I'm sorry," she said. "He's a very good looking guy and if I didn't make him look good enough, I'll try harder next time.
"I don't tend to flatter people and make them look beautiful. I'm working very quickly. Obviously I have a lot of pressure on me, and it's time pressure. It's lucky if I have a few minutes. So I'm just trying to grab onto something, just as quick as I can.”
