Tom Brady made some wild history with his touchdown in the first quarter of Super Bowl 55

Tom Brady has accomplished so much in his absolutely incredible career as the GOAT, including in the 10 Super Bowls he’s appeared in.

That is, except one thing. In nine of those appearances in the NFL’s championship game, he has never led his team to a touchdown in the first quarter.

I repeat: that’s nine Super Bowls, and not one touchdown for the New England Patriots. Per CBS Sports, “Brady has only managed to lead his team to a total of three first quarter points in nine career games.”

But that all changed on Sunday in Super Bowl 55, now that he’s with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With a touchdown pass to his old Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski, that streak is over.

Wild, isn’t it?
