Todd Boehly has said he is “excited” about Chelsea’s long-term future as Enzo Maresca's young squad looks to push on and challenge for major trophies.
Chelsea have had mixed results since Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s takeover in 2022.
But the Blues enjoyed a productive debut season under Maresca, who guided them back to the Champions League as well as winning the Conference League and the Club World Cup.
Chelsea, who have fielded the youngest starting line ups in the Premier League and the Champions League this season, currently sit third in the table.

Boehly has taken his fair share of criticism, with Chelsea spending close to £1.5billion in his three years at the club.
But the American businessman believes Chelsea are on the right track, with the Blues just six points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
“You’re going to watch our team continue to grow and evolve. We’ve got them together for a long time, I am pretty excited about what the future looks like,” Boehly told the Financial Review.
Chelsea have had an inconsistent start to the season, with disciplinary issues and injuries to key players forcing Maresca to adapt.
they are within touching distance of Arsenal, two points outside of the automatic Champions League qualification spaces and into the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
