The Tennessee Titans know where they’ll travel to for the AFC Championship Game.
Tennessee will make its way Arrowhead Stadium to play the Chiefs next Sunday afternoon, following Kansas City’s 51-31 win on Sunday evening in a divisional game against the Houston Texans.
Things got off to a rough start for Kansas City, as the Texans jumped out to a 24-0 lead, partially thanks to several Chiefs miscues.
Between dropped passes, a blocked punt returned for a touchdown and wide receiver Tyreek Hill muffing a punt, Kansas City dug itself into a massive hole.
But quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the explosive Kansas City offense caught fire from the second quarter on, and outscored Houston, 51-7.
Mahomes had himself a day, completing 23-of-35 passes for 321 yards and five touchdowns.
The win was tied for the fourth-biggest comeback in postseason history.
Kansas City’s victory tied the 2002 49ers who also overcame a 24-point deficit in the Wild Card round.
While the Chiefs come into the matchup looking strong, this isn’t any team the Titans haven’t taken down before.
Tennessee defeated Kansas City, 35-32 back in Week 10 in Nashville.
The last time Kansas City and Tennessee met in the playoffs was in the 2018 Wild Card round, when Tennessee rallied from a 21-3 deficit and defeated the Chiefs, 22-21.
The Titans will hope for the same success this time around.
The AFC Championship Game is set for a 3:05 p.m. ET kickoff, and will be broadcast by CBS.
