Titans’ Taylor Lewan calls elderly fan who is surprised by his ‘sweetness’

Despite what can be considered a loud personality both on and off the field, Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan actually has a soft side.

But when he called a 70-plus-year-old fan who is forced to stay indoors due to the coronavirus outbreak, the fan expressed how surprised he was that the man some call “Dad” was so sweet.

After Lewan shared the story of how he met his wife and how they’ve been married longer than most people know, Titans fan Skip Bowie said he didn’t expect that kind of “sweetness” out of Lewan.

“[With] your persona, I would not expect of sweetness like that. I would not let that word get out,” Bowie hilariously said.

Here’s the entire conversation, and it’s worth every minute.

Lewan even had time to crack a joke about himself and penalties with the fan, which was a major problem for the star left tackle when he came back from suspension in 2019.

The Titans continue to do their part to bring joy to fans during this tough time. Head coach Mike Vrabel also shared a great conversation with an elderly fan over the phone, which you can check out here.
