Titans make roster moves, add veteran OL Hroniss Grasu

It’s easy to see that the offensive line of the Tennessee Titans needs some work as the unit prepares to have a better year in 2019.

The Titans took a step towards addressing the issue Thursday, adding veteran offensive lineman Hroniss Grasu to the roster.

Grasu is a familiar face for quarterback Marcus Mariota, having been teammates with him at Oregon from 2012 to 2014. He started 50 consecutive games with the Ducks at center, earning first-team All-PAC 12 honors on three occasions.

In the NFL, the 6-foot-3, 301-pounder has made stops in with the Bears, Ravens and Dolphins.

Grasu was originally drafted in the third round by the Bears, at No. 71 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.

He has played in 17 games, entering 13 as a starter. He missed the 2016 season due to a torn ACL.

Grasu was waived by the Bears after the 2018 training camp and went on to sign with the the Ravens, where he made appearances in three games. Grasu also had a stint with the Dolphins in December, but was ultimately waived by the team.
