Timothy Weah speaks out on Celtic future and reveals impact Hoops supporters have had

Timothy Weah admits he still has no idea where he will be playing his football next season.

But one thing the 19-year-old is certain of is that Celtic will be in his heart - whether he's back at Parkhead, Paris Saint-Germain or further afield.

The on-loan PSG forward has struck a chord with the Hoops faithful during his loan stint in Glasgow.

He's been used sparingly since Neil Lennon replaced Brendan Rodgers in the dugout but returned to the starting line-up against St Mirren last week and marked the occasion with a goal - his fourth in the Hoops.

The Celtic core that will ensure the rebuild goes like clockwork

But it was the previous match, the dramatic 2-1 derby win over Rangers, which cemented his love for the club.

Even though Weah never played a part, he was at the centre of the celebrations afterwards.

All of which has left the American with a huge decision to make when his loan deal expires in the summer. And he is refusing to rule out a return to Parkhead.

Weah told Celtic View: "The celebrations after the (Rangers) game were really fun. It was really passionate from the fans and the players and it was good to be part of it.

"Given I've been at Celtic for these past few months, Celtic will forever be in my heart now.

"I love the fans here and no matter what the future holds for me, I want everyone involved with the club to know I love it here and I'm always going to watch Celtic.

"I'm always going to support the boys from afar.

"But in terms of the immediate future, Celtic is still an option that we have.

"It's up to us as a family and it's also my decision to tell them where I'm most comfortable and what we think is best for my future.

"We just have to figure that out. But no matter what, as I say, I will always love this club."
