TikToker gives tips on how to have a day out in Glasgow without spending a penny

A Scottish TikToker has shared a number of hints and tips on how to have the perfect day out in Glasgow for free.

TikTok user aimzzmckee24 travelled into the city, and took a tour of the city's more interesting landmarks without spending a single penny.

Amy made her way to Glasgow Cathedral first, diving into what is the oldest building in the city. She describes it as 'beautiful on the inside' and says there is 'so much to explore' within the religious buildings historic walls.

Next up on the not so costly adventure was a trek to the Necropolis where a monument to poet William Miller stands and golfing pioneer William Doleman is buried.

A trip to the People's Palace follows, discovering the city's past as well as a brief cameo from Billy Connolly's iconic banana boots .

The TikToker then walks with dinosaur fossils and strides through Ancient Egypt at the Huntarian Museum in Glasgow University, which is the penultimate stop on her journey.

Amy caps off her day without splashing any cash with a trip to the indoor rainforest at the Botanic Gardens.

She certainly has cracked the case when it comes to enjoying Glasgow on a budget.
