TikTok star leaves defeated rival bloodied despite 100lb weight difference

Dave The Other Guy picked up victory against Paddy Murphy despite a significant 50kg (110lb) weight difference.

The pair were clashing on the undercard of Ed Matthews' clash with Simple Simon in London as the celebrity boxing trend made its way to the TikTok scene. The pair had clashed during a fiery press conference and weigh-in and were looking to settle the scores.

Dave The Other Guy started the fastest and he was able to land some huge shots which left his opponent's face bloodied and cut. Murphy tried to respond late on but Dave The Other Guy had his hand raised despite being 50kg lighter than his rival. He was delighted with his performance and called for rivals in any walk of life to settle their differences in the boxing ring.

"Not really I didn't stick to the game plan listen to the crowd they did a fantastic job," he said after his victory. "I can't lie full respect to Paddy Murphy on his weight loss and entering the ring with me because it takes a lot of b******* to get in the ring. I have nothing against him we are good mates and that was a good f****** scrap. This is how it should be settled, no knives just gloves."

Murphy had come into the fight having lost 20kg in a remarkable transformation in the build-up to the bout. He started the slower of the pair with Dave The Other Guy's lower weight handing him a significant advantage in terms of speed and movement.

His rival began to tire out in the second round as his weight continued to plague his movement, with his shorts also falling down in a comical moment for fans. Dave The Other Guy then landed a huge barrage of punches which bloodied the nose of Murphy, and his momentum continued until the final bell.

Murphy was left proud of himself irrespective of the decision. "I have lost 20kg in six weeks I am a big guy I put the work in and it didn't go my way," he said when reflecting on the defeat. "It didn't go my way but I didn't start as well as I would like too. I know we have a love hate relationship but it was a great fight and I enjoyed it. When the rematch comes around I will be his weight and credit to Dave he did well."
