Joe Exotic shocked jurors at his murder-for-hire trial by declaring he was busy filming porn at the time he was said to have received a suspicious phonecall.
The Tiger King star was sentenced to 22 years behind bars for his role in a muder-for-hire plot to kill his nemesis Carole Baskin.
He was found guilty following a federal trial, and much of the evidence focused on phone conversations between Joe, 57, and Allen Glover - the man he was accused of hiring to kill Baskin.
A juror who sat in Joe's trial has now revealed he used a bizarre excuse during questioning about one call he was said to have recieved.
He's said to have told the court he was shooting soft core porn at a motel at the time.
The juror, named only as Kristin, told Fox Nation’s Nancy Grace; "I think he said he was in Oklahoma City or Edmond or something and so he headed back to the zoo, but they stopped at a motel on the way and filmed a soft core porn."
Exotic’s attorney was said to have been shaking his head, and stopped him from saying any more.
The juror added: "He [Joe's lawyer] said 'OK, that’s enough'."
The Netflix star - real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage - was convicted of the murder plot as well multiple violations of the endangered species act.
Kristin admitted many of the jurors felt bad about the verdict, and some were in tears when it was delivered.
She added: "We had a few jurors that were crying when we went back into the courtroom. I think they just felt bad."
