Tesco urgently recalls butter product containing 'high levels' of bacteria

Tesco shoppers are being urged to check their fridges for a certain dairy product which has been recalled due to health and safety concerns.

The supermarket recently announced it is recalling a certain batch of a butter product that could contain bacteria.

The Big Six grocer took to social media to announce to alert shoppers that one batch of their Trewithen Dairy Unsalted Butter could contain "high levels" of the bacteria E.coli, reported Edinburgh Live.

Great British Bake Off announces major format shakeup as host steps away

For the first time ever, Bake Off will have just one host (Channel 4)

The makers of Great British Bake Off have confirmed a major shakeup to its format.

For the first time ever, the popular Channel 4 competition will be presented by just one host.

The upcoming series for the Stand Up To Cancer charity celebrity special will be fronted by Noel Fielding.

The former Mighty Boosh star has been one of two presenters for the show since 2017, when it moved from the BBC to Channel 4.

Woman who screamed and slapped Jet2 passenger named, shamed and banned for life

A ‘nightmare’ flier on a Jet2 plane who slapped a fellow passenger and screamed in a terrified air-stewardess’ face has been hit with a huge fine and banned for life.

A spokesperson for popular holiday airline said Catherine Bush “displayed a catalogue of aggressive, abusive and dangerous behaviour” which included “physical aggression towards other customers and our crew”.

The raging woman can be seen in viral footage being hauled off the flight from Manchester Airport to Antalya, Turkey.

Horror gang stabbing attack at Scots garage as cops probe attempted murder

A man is in hospital after an attempted murder at a Jet garage in Paisley (Andrew Neil)

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed by a gang outside a garage in a horror murder bid.

The 34-year-old man was attacked by three men outside the Jet petrol station on Gleniffer Road in Paisley around 8.20pm last night.

Police and Ambulance rushed to the scene and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he is being treated for stab wounds.

Hospital staff describe his condition as serious.

Scots newlyweds' cancer tragedy four months after dream wedding

A Scots widower has told how he watched his wife die from cervical cancer in a bid to raise awareness of the silent killer.

Liam Stewart, 37, lost sweetheart Eilidh, after a brave fight against the disease.

Wife Eilidh, 40, was diagnosed just four months after the couple's dream wedding.

Liam said: "If sharing Eilidh's story helps save one life, or encourages one person to get checked at the GP, then it's worth it."
