Throwback Thursday: Strathaven Miniature Railway

Did you ever go round the railway at Strathaven? Or do you still visit when you enjoy a day out at the park?

Having just celebrated their 70th anniversary this year, the Strathaven Model Society very kindly shared with us some images of the railway in years gone by.

All these images are part of a special book made by the society to commemorate the milestone.

The booklet is available from club Members and at the park  and the next day to buy would be the 2nd of November at Strathaven Park's bonfire night.

It can also be ordered online from their website or by email at strathavenminiaitureraiway@gmail.co m.
