Thrilling radio call as Lions win first game on last-second touchdown pass

The Detroit Lions did everything they could to give away a game Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. And in the end, they couldn’t.

Dan Campbell has his first win as an NFL head coach in an improbable fashion.

The Lions blew a 20-6 halftime lead, fell behind by four, only to have Jared Goff hit Amon-Ra St. Brown with an 11-yard touchdown pass on the final play to give Detroit a 29-27 victory.

The radio calls were, um, different from each side.

The celebration was on as Detroit went from 0-10-1 to 1-10-1 and still was in position for the No. 1 pick in 2022.

Twitter had its say, of course:

This is sort of a fair turnabout as the Lions lost to the Vikings in their first meeting on a 54-yard field goal by Greg Joseph as time ran out.
