Three missing children spark police appeal

Police are appealing for help to try and locate three missing children last seen on Monday.

The girl, aged 10 and two boys, aged 11, were last seen on the afternoon of January 25.

The PSNI issued the appeals on social media on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson said: "We are asking for the publics help in trying to locate the pictured missing persons.

"There is Donna Lawrence aged 10 and was last seen wearing a grey Nike coat, black track bottoms and black trainers.

"Cain Braniff aged 11 and was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and black trainers with a blue heel.

"Francis Gavin aged 11. Francis was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and trainers.

"If seen keep within social distance guidelines and contact police on 101 with references 1111, 1222 and 1241 of the 25th January 2021."

Meanwhile, five people have been arrested following reports of an armed robbery of a cash in transit van in Belfast city centre.

The PSNI were called to Great Victoria Street at 8.50am this morning following reports that a cash in transit security officer had been assaulted by a man armed with a crowbar.

A cash box was stolen and the suspect is reported to have made off in a dark coloured car.

Four men, aged 41, 44, and two 40 year olds, and a 52-year-old woman, were arrested a short time later in West Belfast.
