Three men have been arrested by Gardai over incidents where locals have been targeted and terrorised in north Dublin over the last few weeks.
Residents in Marino and Fairview have experienced weeks of terror where several houses across the northside area have been broken into and ransacked.
One man was arrested over a burglary in the area with the public on hand to help the Gardai, handing in vital information to help solve the crime.
Locals also assisted with a number of break-in incidents there where cars and vans in the neighbourhood had been targeted.
Two men have also been arrested by Gardai in connection to these incidents.
Residents were told: "Please continue to report anything suspicious, day or night, directly to the Gardaí in Clontarf on 016664800 or, in an emergency, on 999/112."
