Three-legged cat goes missing from South Bristol

A three-legged tabby cat has gone missing in South Bristol leaving its owners pleading for the public's help to reunite them.

Nicknamed 'tripod' the cat has never been missing for a single night in seven years of ownership. However, after returning from a holiday, the owners discovered that she has gone missing.

Reba the rescue cat is very distinctive with a missing rear leg and is very friendly, vocal and approachable to new people.

She normally lives on Merioneth Street which backs onto Monmouth Street. She never leaves through the front, only out the back. The property is also located near Victoria Park in South Bristol.

Reba was last sighted meowing in distress in front of the house on Merioneth Street on Friday, August 19, but reports have been slim since. The owners are asking locally for people to check sheds, and outbuildings and keep an eye out for the distinctive cat.

Sharing the distress on Twitter, user @Whagwan_W said: "Got back from holiday and our little tripod is missing.

"Out postering and flyering but she's never been gone a night in seven years. I know it's a low chance but if anyone on here spies a three-legged tabby in South Bristol please give me a shout."
