Three dead after US strike on Venezuelan boat allegedly transporting narcotics

President Donald Trump announced that American forces conducted a second "kinetic strike" against a boat allegedly transporting narcotics from Venezuela to the United States.
The strike resulted in the deaths of three individuals, whom Trump described as "narcoterrorists" on Truth Social, claiming they were transporting illegal narcotics destined for the US.
Trump asserted that these "extremely violent drug trafficking cartels" are a significant threat to US national security and have caused "DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES" in American communities.
This incident marks the second such attack this month, following an earlier strike against a vessel purportedly carrying members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
The military actions have faced condemnation from some members of Congress, including Democrats and Republican Senator Rand Paul, who have questioned the legal justification and the President's authority to order such strikes.
