Three charged after attempted arson at Iran International’s London office

  • Three individuals have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life following an attempted attack on a Persian media organisation in London.
  • Oisin McGuinness, 21, Nathan Dunn, 19, and a 16-year-old boy were charged by the Metropolitan Police.
  • It’s alleged that the incident involved an "ignited container" being thrown towards the offices of Volant Media, parent company of Iran International, in Wembley.
  • The fire self-extinguished in a car park, resulting in no injuries or damage.
  • The British nationals are scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later on Friday, with McGuinness also facing a dangerous driving charge.
