Three men were arrested after a car rammed into a garda vehicle during a chase earlier today.
Officers pursued a car that had turned away from a COVID-19 checkpoint in the Blessington area in Co Wicklow.
The chase ended with the car smashing into a garda patrol car while trying to evade the gardai in Clondalkin.
Three men in their 20s were arrested and taken to Tallaght Garda Station where they are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
A garda spokeswoman said: “Investigations ongoing.”
