"WE have to come together to show that love is love."
That was the message shared among the thousands who marched through Glasgow on Saturday to celebrate 30 years of Pride in the city.
Starting at Glasgow Green, the parade marched along the Clyde and into the city via Argyle Street, as people partied to the music before looping back to Glasgow Green.
Drag Queens, Gigi Lamore, Eve Devine and Tandy the Drag Queen were out celebrating the day, walking in the parade for Corset Club.
Tandy said: "I have been up since half five this morning! We started at ten in the morning in full drag, and then we've been walking the march, and we're going back to Corset Club for a little show later on tonight.
"We have to come together to show that love is love. And not to judge anyone; the person inside is all that matters."
Eve said now is a time when people "needed the community's support," referring to a 2025 UK Supreme Court ruling that determined that "sex" and "woman" in the Equality Act 2010 refer strictly to biological sex.
This ruling, in practice, allows service providers to legally exclude trans individuals from single-sex spaces under certain conditions.
She added: "We are trans drag queens, and everyone showing up and showing out is just like a beacon of hope that there are people here when we need them.
"Trans people have been there for the queer community throughout time, from Stonewall all the way through, and now it's our turn to need the community's support," she added.
Gigi said: "Because it's the 30th anniversary, it's just the biggest Pride yet. And it's so good to see all these people come together, have a good time."
Gina and mum, Anne, were partying down on Clyde Street, waving flags and wearing colourful costumes.
"I was at Edinburgh Pride a few weeks ago, but this is my first Glasgow one. It's lovely to see everyone turning out to really show off Glasgow and make a lot of noise," Gina said.
Anne added: "I'm here to support her, it's great, and I'm loving it."
Multiple events are planned throughout the day, with Liberty X and Ultrabeat headlining the event. Other acts include Honey G, Kelly Wilde and Just The Brave and a Chappell Roan tribute act.
Friends Oliver and Anna were walking down the city's Argyle Street amid a parade of brass band players as the march looped back to Glasgow Green.
Oliver said: "It's fun, and it's awesome, there's a fantastic and really great energy today. No negatives at all.
"The energy is great, it's so positive and uplifting," Anna added.
