Around 2,000 people flocked to Bury today to catch a glimpse of the famous Flying Scotsman.
The locomotive passed through Bolton Street station as part of its five-day appearance on the East Lancashire Railway.
Passengers from as far as Cornwall travelled for a chance to ride on the legendary machine.
The locomotive made a round-trip journey from Bury to Rawtenstall.
The Flying Scotsman has been touring again since May, travelling all around the UK.

Tours for 2020 were cancelled because of coronavirus.
The Flying Scotsman service between Edinburgh and London began in 1862.
It was named the Flying Scotsman in 1924.

The locomotive cost £7,944 to build, with restoration costs totalling £4.2m.
It was the first locomotive to reach speeds of 100mph in 1934.
