This Year's Art of Motorcycling Contest Is On, Here's How to Enter

In 2015, Royal Enfield went through a Nineties-style movie makeover, making a grand entrance into the US market with their “Rocker Red”, too-cool-for-school Continental GT. This retro cafe racer was just the beginning of a series of aggressive campaigns to reach every make and model of modern hipster that swings a leg over a motorbike, be it on-road and off.

I should know; I was one of those wannabes who gripped onto the handlebars of the British-turned-Indian heritage brand and haven’t let go.

And I’m not the only one, as Royal Enfield recently reported record-breaking global sales, surpassing one million motorcycles sold in the last financial year, with substantial growth in the USA and export markets. But the company isn't slowing down, so the brand is continuing to tackle the broadly ranged creative types across 12 countries with another big and bold Cine-Verse-inspired competition.

“You are the main character and your Royal Enfield, a co-star,” states the latest edition of the company's Art of Motorcycling movie poster contest. Be it a digital format or a more classic artistic medium, they are offering rider-slash-artists the opportunity to win a sponsored trip to Motoverse in Goa, an exclusive custom collector’s kit, and merchandise featuring the winning artwork in selected pieces.

How it works.

  1. Register (open since August 9th) and select your category: digital or hand-drawn art.
  2. Create & Submit your poster (open since August 20th) using the guidance available in the official “design toolkit.”
  3. Winner Selection: Royal Enfield will shortlist and contact winners, announcing the final results on November 10th.

Wait, who is it for again?

If you’re a motorcycle enthusiast (or you’re good at faking it) with a creative side, and you live in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Australia & New Zealand (considered one combined unit), Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina, then this is your chance. But while citizens of the US don’t get to participate, we still have the privilege of witnessing this worldwide head-hunt for the most imaginative creators out there, above and below 18 years of age, come November. And, frankly, I’m pretty stoked to see what ya’ll come up with.

As we celebrate Cine-Verse 2025, it marks yet another bold chapter in Royal Enfield’s celebrated Art of Motorcycling journey—now in its fifth year since its debut in 2020. What began as a heartfelt invitation for riders to artistically express what motorcycling means to them has grown dramatically. From early seasons that unfolded across Instagram to the blockbuster Y3K global edition of 2024, the contest has continually evolved—adding rich formats like Generative AI and Comic Art, empowering artists with collaborations, design internships, and international showcases.

This year’s Cine-Verse instalment promises to raise the bar even higher—literally casting your ride as the star of its own cinematic universe. With multi-format categories and high-stakes rewards like fully sponsored Motoverse trips, exclusive collector kits, and artwork immortalized on merchandise, the 2025 edition stands poised to become the most immersive and creative one yet.

So for artists who’ve followed this series since day one—or those just tuning into this global call for imagination—Cine-Verse 2025 doesn’t just continue a legacy; it amplifies it, and invites you to be part of its most expressive act yet.
