This Wales fan was all of us during passionate and emotional Welsh national anthem at World Cup

The Welsh national anthem is enough to bring anyone to tears, even at the best of times.

But throw in a first World Cup appearance in 64 years after six decades of waiting and the emotion levels go through the roof.

This member of the Red Wall was like the rest of us, full of passion and pride as she belted out Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau ahead of Wales' first game at the World Cup in Qatar. As the camera panned to supporters in the crowd, the woman appeared overcome with emotion as she belted out the words with gusto.

The US anthem was played first but was placed firmly in the shade by Welsh supporters, who numbered around 3,000 but sounded more like a stadium-full going by the acoustics.

Rob Page's men will want to kick off their group B campaign with a positive result against the Americans, having seen rivals England smash Iran 6-2 earlier in the day. You can follow live updates here.
