A This Morning star has responded to speculation that he could be taking over as a Strictly Come Dancing host.
In October, it was announced that Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman would be stepping down in their hosting roles for the popular BBC series. In a joint statement, the pair said working for the show had been an “absolute dream”.
On Thursday (7 May), Dermot O’Leary was grilled about taking on the sought-after role on Good Morning Britain.
The 52-year-old laughed as he said: “They need to let me know if they want me to do it, because the phone hasn’t been ringing.” He then admitted he doesn’t think the job would be for him.
