This Morning's Josie Gibson says son Reggie rushed to hospital with painful injury

This Morning presenter Josie Gibson has revealed that her son was rushed to hospital with a painful injury.

The 37-year-old revealed the news as she shared an X-ray of her three-year-old son's arm on her Instagram account. She said that he had hurt himself due to being "a victim of the trampoline ladder."

The mum thanked the medical staff for the care received as she wrote: "Thank you to the super talented theatre @ruhbath. You’ve put my little prince back together again. Reg has a new terminator arm."

She added: “A victim of the trampoline ladder.” She then mocked up Reggie as Iron Man, the Marvel superhero played by Robert Downey Jr. It was captioned: “Reggie-James is Iron Man.” Josie then wrote: “Thank you to my @thismorning family for making this. LOL.”

Earlier this month, Bristol-based Josie discussed being a single mum to her son and how she juggles it with work. She told The Mirror: "My weekend starts with cuddles with my son Reggie.

"If I’ve got energy after working I’ll cook a meal, but we love going to David Lloyd for some food – it’s walking distance from our house. Then we’ll lie on the sofa, watch a film and snuggle."

She added: "Reggie is only three so I never get a lie-in – not even on weekends. We’re always up early but we just like to chill at the weekends. It’s Reggie time – we do whatever he wants to do, which usually includes eating out!"
