This Morning's Holly Willoughby opens up about 'little coincidences'

Holly Willoughby has sent a message to fans after her dramatic return to ITV's This Morning on Monday.

The 42-year-old opened the week's first instalment of the daytime programme with an emotional statement. She became tearful as she told viewers it was "strange" to front the show without Phillip Schofield by her side.

Mr Schofield quit the channel after he admitted having an affair with a younger male colleague.

After what a Good Morning Britain segment said would likely be one of Holly's "toughest moments in her decades in front of the camera", the mum-of-three sent a message to fans who are subscribed to her Wylde Moon updates.

It said: "With all the lovely weather, followed by the arrival of yesterday’s Full ‘Strawberry’ Moon in Sagittarius, we’ve been treated to sunrays by day and moonbeams by night. Where possible, don’t forget to take a moment for yourself this week to absorb Mother Nature’s gifts…she has the ability to recharge the body and soul like nothing else.

"Do you ever find yourself thinking, that’s weird timing or I can’t believe that’s just happened? Well, all those little coincidences that pepper everyday life could be the universe trying to send you a message.

"We’ve dived into the world of serendipity with neuroscientist, Matt Johnson, PhD., to discover what it all means."

Holly describes Wylde Moon as "an ever-evolving journey of self discovery." The website says: "The pillars of Wylde Moon are about having a true sense of self; igniting your intuition, knowing your self-worth and nourishing your body and soul through music, food, laughter, sex, passion, beautiful things, or all of the above. Let’s learn together, laugh together, find our voices, our strengths, and rediscover who we are together."

The TV personality launched the venture in 2021 and at the time said she had created it to "fill a need in me".
