Alison Hammond has come in for praise from This Morning viewers and her co-host Dermot O'Leary for her empowering reply to an anxious caller.
As they do every Friday, former Big Brother star Alison and Dermot were at the helm of the ITV daytime show and half way through the episode they were joined by resident agony aunt Deidre for a phone-in about people's big anxieties coming out of lockdown.
One of the callers was a woman called Sam who sounded upset as he explained she was bullied as a child and teenager for being "a little bit bigger," before saying: "the body's still there. I've no confidence and when the mask wearing goes, I've got nothing left to hide behind."
Sam then told Alison and Dermot: "I don't want it to filter down into my children.
"I tell my children I love everything about myself but I don't."
After listening intently and looking visibly moved by what Sam was saying, Alison asked her what her children thought about her to which Sam replied: "I think they adore me."
Her response prompting Alison to say: "you need to start seeing yourself through the eyes of your children."
Alison then added: "you're an one-off babes. There's no-one like you! You need to start loving everything about you, all that juice.
"I doesn't matter if you take up a little bit extra room in the world, it really doesn't matter babe.
"Take that room up and own it!"

Dermot was mightily impressed by Alison's advice, as he responded: "Hammond for President!
"I'm not joking, that was lovely!"
She then added: "We need to see our bodies not as ornaments but instruments. They do amazing things. She's had kids!
"She's got to love herself."
Alison's word had a huge impact on people watching at home, with one viewer tweeting: "Love you Alison need you in my life too such a lovely positive beautiful lady I have suffered too with low esteem body confidence what good advice you gave that caller, I've got to be more Alison."
Another reacted: "So, so positive! Supporting the low self confidence phone in caller....you were amazing!
