Alison Hammond broke down 'in tears' live on This Morning - after she was served spoof divorce papers by Dwayne Johnson.
The 44-year-old sobbed to hosts of the ITV show Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about the breakdown of their relationship after Hollywood actor Johnson - aka The Rock - married Lauren Hashain last month.
Alison and Johnson, 47, met when she interviewed the former professional wrestler for the flagship daytime show. Overcome by Hammond, Johnson 'proposed' and she said 'yes'.
They 'married' during another interview in 2017, but it seems that their marriage broke down and finally came to an end when he said on the red carpet he was serving her divorce papers, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Sat in a bath robe, stuffing her face with popcorn and clutching tissues, Holly and Phil asked Alison how she was.
Alison said: "I just don't know why he would have done this to me. OK, I didn't see him very often, but I know we were in love with each other.
"He meant so much to me."
Vanessa Feltz tried to console Alison and said: "What did he have to offer?"
Alison said: "Well, he was in lots of movies."
The show is looking for a replacement husband for the mum-of-one, someone preferably in Birmingham, who looks like The Rock and enjoys going the gym.
