This Morning fans all say same thing as Corrie's Colson Smith appears

This Morning fans were full of praise today as Coronation Street star Colson Smith spoke about his weight loss.

Colson, who plays Craig Tinker on the ITV soap, has lost a drastic amount of weight over the past 18 months and he's now due to release a documentary about his experience.

The 22-year-old appeared on This Morning today to speak about the documentary and the reasons why he decided to lose weight.

Colson said he had always been labelled as "the fat kid" but he decided it was time to change his life.

Colson told Holly and Phil he'd spoken to Corrie bosses about what was next for Craig and he had suggested losing weight to fit in with his role as a policeman.

Soap bosses were supportive of his ambition and he set out on a weight loss journey.

But as well as shedding the pounds Colson said he's found much more self respect for himself and had rediscovered his own identity.

And This Morning fans were full of praise following his transformation, with lots of them taking to social media to comment on it.

Emma said: "What a transformation with his weight loss, wow well done."
