An unimpressed viewer gave Eamonn Holmes a good telling off on This Morning today - but left both him and wife Ruth Langsford stunned after her "thong" suggestion.

Ruth had wrapped up a luxury bag to put your toiletries in when you go to the airport for him, yet Eamonn was not happy.
But Ruth had an ally on her side in the form of caller Christine, from Lincolnshire, who gave Eamonn a good tongue lashing during the call-in.
She said, as Eamonn looked stunned: "Eamonn, you're very ungrateful! It was a very thoughtful present and you should appreciate it."
However Christine added: "But I think one thing was missing and maybe she should have just put a little red thong in there to please you."
Ruth burst into laughter but Eamonn hadn't heard what she had said, leading her to repeat Christine's suggestion to a "deaf" Eamonn.
Eamonn looked very happy about the suggestion and grinned.
Yet Ruth questioned: "You mean a little red thong for him to wear?"
Earlier, their live domestic began when Eamonn explained that he found a present this morning that had been lovingly wrapped.
Eamonn said: "Ruthie left me a present this morning. There was a bagful bag beside my table. I delved into it and took out a plastic bag, container, a see through sort of make up bag thing."
Ruth claimed he was being unkind as it was a useful gift - a luxury bag to put your toiletries in when you go to the airport.
Explaining her thought process, he said: "I could have got you chocolates. You don't need chocolate. What else could I get you?
"When we travel together we go through airports and you moan about putting your toiletries in a plastic bag. I at great expense brought a proper bag with leather. I thought it was a very thoughtful gift."
