What happens when Dua Lipa, Nespresso, and Sundays Bondi walk into a bar? It might look a little something like the must-visit Sydney pop-up over the next few weeks, where Dua’s fans are invited to step into her world, grab a coffee, and chow down on a banana bread scroll.
Dubbed the Vertuo Morning World Experience, the event was cooked up (brewed up?) to celebrate Nespresso’s new Vertuo Up machine, and will see the brand’s Sydney headquarters transformed to invoke a dreamy sunlit morning.
Located on Level 1 at the Pitt Street Boutique, the event space was redesigned in the style of a New York City apartment boasting unbeatable skyline views. It took inspo in the design of the space from Dua’s new Vertuo World campaign for Nespresso.
We already know Dua is as famous for her vacations as she is for her music, so anything that channels her — especially something with crossword puzzles, coffee-scented ambiance and breakfast in bed vibes — is all the seal of approval we need.
Now, remember that Sundays Bondi scroll I mentioned?
Yep, the event partnered with the cult-favourite Sydney Bakery to offer a range of limited-edition menu items to enjoy (read: scoff down) during the morning — including an item that has my sweet tooth aching: a Nespresso Banana Bread scroll.
So what exactly is going down in the at the event? Basically, your winter morning plans are sorted with a complementary visit to the space across multiple sessions slated for the remainder of the month.
All you have to do is luxuriate in the curated vibes, baked goods, and coffees. There’s also complimentary refreshments and daybeds for optimal lounging, depending on how many coffee shots you’ve had by that point.
Vertuo Morning World Experience already had a session over the weekend, but there’s a bunch more in the works for the next few weeks. There’ll be other events this Saturday (June 6) and the following Saturday (June 13), both going from 10am to 2pm.
They are both free, but with limited spots, so your best bet is nabbing tickets to ensure you don’t go without a coffee or a scroll. Find tickets to those two dates HERE.
Outside of those ticketed sessions, there will also be slots available on Thursdays and Fridays running from 10am to 2pm between June 4 to July 18. These sessions are walk-in friendly, and work on a first-come, first served basis.
So, while winter mornings are making it increasingly difficult to wake up, here is an event that offers the perfect hack to ensure you’re fully perked up and won’t spend the day under the doona covers.
