A 13-year-old has been rushed to hospital after being hit hit by a car in Kildare.
The young boy was crossing at a zebra junction in Celbridge when the incident happened.
A local working nearby rushed to the scene and stayed with the boy until the ambulance arrived.
The incident happened at the junction between the Newtown Road and the Dublin Road which leads onto the bridge.
The driver remained at the scene while the condition of the boy is not yet know.
