Thieves robbed hundreds of metres of internet cables in the middle of the night last week.
The cables were cut down from poles on the Moynalty to Kingscourt Rd, Screebogue is the townland in Co Meath.
The crime occurred last Saturday between 12am and 2am.
Gardai confirmed that the line has been replaced and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
A garda spokesperson said on the Meath Crime Prevention page: "If anyone saw any suspicious activity on that road between these times can you please give the Gardaí a call on 0469240999."
