There's no doubt who Nottingham Forest ace Lewis Grabban wants to win play-off final!

Nottingham Forest striker Lewis Grabban has nailed his colours firmly to the mast ahead of this afternoon’s Championship play-off final.

A place in the Premier League is up for grabs when Aston Villa and the Reds’ arch-rivals Derby County go toe-to-toe at Wembley as the season reaches its climax.

Few of a Forest persuasion will be hoping Frank Lampard’s side are the ones celebrating come full-time, with fans taking to social media to profess their support for Villa today.

And Grabban is seemingly very much among them.

The front man, who spent the second half of the 2017/18 campaign on loan at Villa Park, is hoping his old club clinch the victory – and a return to the top-flight – in the showpiece finale.

He wrote on Twitter: “Wish @AVFCOfficial all the best today. Get back to the big league!”

Grabban made 18 appearances for Villa during his spell on loan from Bournemouth, bagging eight goals.

He then made the move to the City Ground almost 12 months ago, finishing the season just gone as the club’s top scorer with 17 strikes in all competitions.

Villa beat neighbours West Bromwich Albion in the play-off semi-finals to earn their shot at promotion, while Derby toppled Leeds United.
