Then and Now: Vicky Kaushal's childhood photo with Shah Rukh Khan on 'Asoka' sets goes VIRAL

After starring with Shah Rukh Khan in the film 'Dunki', Vicky Kaushal teamed up with the Bollywood superstar to host an award show. As videos of their co-hosting gig took over social media, fans of the actors got nostalgic as they posted photos of the two online.

Proud of Vicky's rise to stardom, fans shared a rare and unseen childhood photo of the Bollywood actor posing with SRK from the sets of the 2001 film 'Asoka'. The picture which has since gone viral online, shows a young Vicky beaming as he stands beside King Khan, who was dressed in full costume as Emperor Ashoka, ready to shoot a scene for the historical epic.

"Just how fast night changes," the fan captioned the post.

Besides fans getting nostalgic over this duo, Vicky also found himself looking back to his childhood, reminiscing his time idolising the Bollywood superstar. In a post, he wrote, "From growing up watching him create magic with his hosting and performances on stage… to last night, sharing the stage and being part of the same magic… I lived many dreams! Thank you @iamsrk Sir. There’s no one like you, there never will be."

On the work front, Vicky will next be seen in the historic movie 'Chhaava' and will also reunite with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali film 'Love and War'.

Shah Rukh, on the other hand, is currently busy working on the film 'King', which will see him co-starring opposite Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
