As the weekend winds down and you begin to prepare for the week ahead there is nothing better than a delicious Sunday lunch. And if you are looking for somewhere new to try out then this Cwmbran pub will not disappoint.

In fact, The Gate in Llanfrechfa has been named among the UK's top 50 pubs for a Sunday lunch by OpenTable using 1.2 million reviews by diners to create the list. The Gate is the only place from Wales to make the list.

Gareth and Heather Lee have been running The Gate since 2017 and have transformed the pub into a steak and seafood restaurant. The menu changes daily, depending on the fresh ingredients available.
