The viral wicker witch hats from McGee & Co are in – grab them now before they sell out again

Wooden sideboard with wicker witch hats, black tapered candlesticks, Gothic paintings, and a vase full of twisted branches.

Summer isn't over yet, but it's never too early to start thinking about Halloween decorating ideas – and I'm so excited to see that McGee & Co's Halloween collectionis already here. It offers such a subtly stylish take on spooky decor, but if last year is anything to go by, it was so popular that some of my favorite pieces, including these wicker witch hats sold out before I could say 'boo'.

In fact, they went viral to the point that disappointed but savvy TikTok creators, who were also pipped to the checkout, were trying their hand at making their own to get the McGee & Co. holiday look.

In the spirit of summerween, I'm kicking off spooky season early this year, and I'm not missing out again. They're the perfect accessory to gently transition to fall decor ideas, especially if you pair with seasonal bouquets in russet tones earlier in the season, then add eerie ornaments and candles as we move towards Halloween itself.

Staying true to her roots, Shea McGee designed the Wicker Witch Hats with her signature neutral tones and simple lines. Woven from wicker and wrapped around wire in a moody tone, this set of two witch hats (one small, one medium) would look perfect clustered together on a console table to create a spooky scene or set in the middle of your dining table and illuminated with string lights for a unique fall table decor idea.

Plus, they tap into the rattan tableware trend, which shows no signs of disappearing anytime soon – I'll be styling them on my mantelpiece for now and moving them to my porch for outdoor halloween decor that will welcome guests to a party.

While there's no doubt that these are a stand-out piece, the whole McGee & Co Halloween collection is highly covetable. Think gentle fall colors in natural fern wreaths and garlands, to apothecary style skulls and cloches, and sculptural candle holders to gothic serveware. Here are our favorite picks from the rest of the collection.
