A The View host accidentally called Donald Trump Jr’s wedding a “funeral” live on air.
On Tuesday (26 May), Alyssa Farah Griffin and her fellow The View presenters discussed Donald Trump’s notable absence from his son’s big day.
The US president decided to stay in Washington DC instead of flying out to the Bahamas for his son’s wedding to socialite Bettina Anderson.
“A parent should try to never miss their child’s funeral,” said Griffin, Trump’s former White House strategic communications director. She quickly corrected herself, adding: “Honestly, I’m so tired, I have a three-month-old. That was not meant.”
