A new vegan and plastic free toothpaste has launched, promising oral care "that's good for you and the planet".
Tooth Be Told is a charcoal natural toothpaste that is cruelty-free and certified by The Vegan Society. It comes in a container made of bamboo and aluminium for sustainability reasons.
The toothpaste's ingredients are said to be made with "high-quality ingredients that are gentle on teeth and gums, yet effective at cleaning and freshening breath". Their lack of harsh chemicals are meant to be ideal for people with sensitive teeth and gums.

Peter Glass, Founder of Tooth Be Told, said: "I founded Tooth Be Told because I wanted to make a difference in the world and help people take care of their teeth and gums in a healthy, responsible way.
"Reducing our daily plastic usage is essential for preserving the planet for future generations. A single plastic toothpaste tube can take up to 450 years to decompose, which highlights the urgency to switch to more sustainable alternatives like our bamboo packaged toothpaste."
Tooth Be Told say their recycled packaging, along with lack of animal testing, means customers "can make a difference with every brush" in the knowledge they are supporting an "ethical and environmentally-friendly brand".
