The Undertaker left furious with Goldberg after WWE Super ShowDown botches RUIN headline match

The Undertaker defeated Goldberg at their meeting at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Saudi Arabia, but was left angered by a botched finish from his opponent

The problems began for Goldberg, a WWE Hall of Famer, when he ran into a ring post, splitting his head open in the process.

He also failed with his trademark Jackhammer finisher and then was unable to execute reversing a Tombstone, with both men falling over.

In the end Taker had to call an audible change of plan and hit a chokeslam to finish the contest, which was a disappointing end to what was promising to be a thrilling main event.

The Taker seemed far from happy with how the contest ended, and looked visibly angry at the end.

After Goldberg's defeat social media was awash with mockery of the 52-year-old, with former UFC fighter Matthew Riddle leading the taunts.

In a video posted on his Twitter he wrote: "You never disappoint Goldberg," before saying in a video: "Goldberg, Goldberg, you lived up to the hype yet again! You are absolutely the worst wrestler, and that's not an opinion, that's a fact."

The video was later deleted.

Prior to the match Goldberg mocked Taker with a throat slash gesture, and he started promisingly, drilling his rival with consecutive spears.

However, his performance only went downhill from there, and in the end it was all too easy for Taker.

In the other events, Saudi Arabia's own Mansoor brought the house down by winning the battle royal, while Kofi Kingston retained his WWE Championship, Braun Strowman defeated Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton beat Triple H.

The event was WWE's third foray into Saudi Arabia, and by and large was a success, with Orton's battle against Triple H particularly popular with the watching crowd.
