The two teams ex-Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has backed to break top-six dominance

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes Leicester or West Ham are both in with a chance of breaking into the Premier League’s top six this season.

Leicester were being heavily tipped as the side who gatecrash the top six this season, despite losing Harry Maguire to Manchester United in the summer.

While West Ham's impressive start to the season has also saw them emerge as contenders to break the established order, and Redknapp has admitted he likes the look of Manuel Pellegrini's side.

“I like the look of West Ham,” Redknapp told talkSPORT.

“I think West Ham will certainly be top eight this year and if anyone’s getting to the top six it will be them or Leicester.

“They’re the two teams that could knock one of the big six out this year. They look very good.

“I like what I’ve seen from them so far –  I have not seen them live yet but I’ve watched every one of their match on the box.

“They have some great forwards and look really exciting.”
