The Tottenham players in action this weekend amid fixture call after Queen Elizabeth II death

There will be no Premier League games this weekend in wake of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Following the passing of the Queen on Thursday afternoon, it was decided on Friday that all fixtures in England would be postponed over the weekend as a mark of respect.

That means a new date will have to be found for Tottenham's Premier League away clash at Man City that was scheduled to take place on Saturday evening. Spurs loanees Troy Parrott and Dane Scarlett will also not be in action as games in the English Football League have been postponed.

However, a number of Tottenham players on loan across Europe will take to the pitch over the weekend as football outside the UK continues. So which Spurs stars will be playing? football.london takes a look.

New signing Destiny Udogie is one of the three Spurs players in Italy after returning to Udinese on a season-long loan deal to help aid his development. Fresh from scoring in the 4-0 win over Roma last weekend, which was his second of the season, the left wing-back and his Udinese teammates will travel to Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon, with the game kicking off at 2pm.

Elsewhere in Serie A, Tanguy Ndombele will be hoping for an increase in minutes when Napoli host Spezia on Saturday afternoon. The Frenchman has mainly had to do with minutes off the bench so far this campaign and he was an unused substitute in midweek as they hit Liverpool for four in the Champions League.

One player who won't be in action on Saturday is Harry Winks. The midfielder is not part of the Sampdoria squad vs AC Milan, with Calciomercato reporting during the week that the 26-year-old has an ankle injury at present and he is also not there in terms of his physical condition just yet.

In Spain, Sergio Reguilon will have his fingers crossed he is in a position to make his Atletico Madrid debut as he has not made a matchday squad yet as he recovers from a groin injury. If he is involved for the first time under Diego Simeone, he will come up against Celta Vigo at home at 8pm on Saturday.

Giovani Lo Celso will then play 24 hours later when Villarreal travel to his former club Real Betis. The midfielder, who was on the scoresheet last weekend, has slotted straight back into life at the Yellow Submarines and will once again be a key player in Unai Emery's side.

Sunday also sees Joe Rodon and Rennes face Auxerre at home as they look to move up the Ligue 1 table after such a mixed start to the term. The Welshman has been a regular at the back for his new club and netted his first goal for them in their recent victory over Brest.

Finally, Alfie Whiteman will be between the sticks for Degerfors against Mjallby on Saturday in Sweden. The goalkeeper's team are 14th in the league table at present and need the points to try and move away from danger.
