Tottenham midfielder, Harvey White, gave a promising performance with his high energy in the U23s 2-1 loss on Friday.
White is one of Tottenham's academy boys who has seen himself feature in the Spurs first team in the last year.
The 19-year-old has just come back from a loan at Portsmouth, where he went in January and scored one goal in his 22 appearances before his return.
White told the club's official website how much he enjoyed his time at the League One club.
"Going there and making 22 appearances, I started six of them, played three full lots of 90 minutes and scored one goal, so it was great for me."
Upon his return to North London, the youngster has been in all three of the starting line-ups for the Spurs U23s this season.
The academy youngsters lost 2-1 in their game against the Arsenal U23s on Friday, but White showed his fight throughout the game.
The midfielder assisted Tottenham's only goal of the game, after his corner found the head of Alfie Devine and went in, to give Spurs the lead.
His high energy performance saw him constantly looking for space and when he received the ball, trying to get it to the likes of Dilan Markanday on the wing.
The Kent born player also described the importance of his individual performances.
"You’ve got to be individually focused on getting in the squad first of all and then once you’re in the squad, keep your spot."
"Sometimes it’s going to be a tough game but you’ve got to find ways to shine, play well and keep your place."
He also showed his positive team playing style as he was constantly up and down the pitch, for the full 90 minutes.
When Spurs went 2-1 down at Hotspur Way, White looked to hold back and help prevent the visitors extend their lead.
He created chances from set pieces, successfully picking out players who narrowly missed converting their shots into goals.

Despite a slightly quieter second half, he showed his fight right to the end with some clean passes to J'Neil Bennett, in the attacking half.
White featured in Spurs' FA Cup Third Round tie against Marine in January 2021 and was used off the bench in some of their pre-season games, before the start of the 2021/22 season.
The teenager is likely to go on loan again, as with the amount of midfielders in the first team, there is no place for him in Nuno Espirito Santo's current squad.
If he continues to work hard, he could have a bright future ahead of him.
The Spurs U23s currently sit fifth in the Premier League 2 table, with their next game being against Stevenage in the Papa John's Trophy, next week.
