The Todd Cantwell Rangers and Celtic connection as he reveals inside track from ex-Hoops star

Todd Cantwell has revealed he sought the advice of a former Celtic player before joining Rangers.

The ex-Norwich City midfielder left his boyhood club to join Michael Beale's mission at Ibrox in January. The 25-year-old had fallen down the pecking order at Carrow Road and was offered a lifeline by Rangers. Cantwell has impressed fans already during his time in light blue and admitted upon sealing his move he knew all about the history of the club.

But the youngster has revealed he got the inside track from former Norwich and Celtic striker Teemu Pukki. The Finnish forward, who will leave the Canaries at the end of the season, made 38 appearances for the Parkhead side across two seasons but only managed nine goals in a spell that left Hoops fans wanting more.
