The Spiegeltent returns to Bristol this Christmas - here's what to expect

Popular festive attraction The Spiegeltent is returning to Bristol once more for Christmas.

The huge tent in the Harbourside will host a series of live music events, children’s shows and a drag ball.

The Spiegeltent has been a festive fixture in the city since 2012 and tickets for this year’s tenth anniversary events are now on sale.

This year the event will be in the city from Thursday, November 25 through to New Year’s Eve and organisers promise it will be bigger and better than ever.

There will be a wide range of entertainment to thrill and excite audiences of all ages, kicking off on November 25 with The Spiegeltent Drag Ball.

New for 2021 is the launch of Bring Me Sunshine, a thrilling Christmas spectacle of live circus, fire, music and comedy.

For younger audiences, there are brand new events including family-friendly drag show Tuck Shop, alongside firm faves like the children’s rave Junior Jungle and the hugely popular Baby Disco.

The Spiegeltent’s ever-popular Sunday Socials return with an eclectic mix of performances and traditional Sunday roasts.

White Mink: Electro Swing Speakeasy will present a combination of live music, dance, cabaret and music and close harmony trio The Puppini Sisters make a welcome return with their showstopping vocals.

There will also be live music from Smoove & Turrell and DJ sets from King of The Beats and A.Skillz.

Bringing the curtain down on another Spiegeltent season will be the Roaring 2.0s NYE Masquerade Ball on December 31. It’s The UK’s largest 1920s themed event and promises some memorable live music and performances to see in the new year.

Director Steve Meadows said: "We're excited to bring back the Christmas Spiegeltent after such a difficult time and super chuffed with the programme we've put together - we feel that's something in it for everyone.

"I'm passionate and proud to support local performers and the local economy with what I believe to be an important addition to Bristol's cultural calendar."

Tickets can be booked from The Spiegeltent website.
