Celtic could employ a recently introduced SPFL rule to help with their upcoming Champions League play-off.
Brendan Rodgers' men have been drawn to face either Slovan Bratislava or Kairat Almaty for a place in European football's elite club competition.
The two sides do battle over the coming eight days, and by next Tuesday night, Celtic will know who their opponents are.
The first leg of the play-off will take place on the midweek of August 19/20. The return leg will come a week later, on either August 26 or 27.

Because of a new SPFL rule that was introduced earlier this year, Celtic could ask for their domestic fixture that takes place between the two legs of their play-off to be postponed.
"The SPFL Board has approved a new policy which will allow William Hill Premiership clubs to postpone one specific league match next season to enhance preparations for UEFA Play-Off round qualifiers," read an SPFL statement in April.
"The move allows clubs to postpone their William Hill Premiership fixture in matchday three, which is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 23/24 August, between the first and second legs of the UEFA Play-Off round fixtures in the 2025/26 season."
The law means that Celtic could have their game against Livingston at Parkhead on Saturday, August 23, postponed.
It remains to be seen whether the club will take up the option to reschedule the game.
Given they could have a 7073-mile round trip if Kairat Almaty beat Slovan Bratislava, Celtic might just want to do so, especially with a trip to Ibrox on the horizon a few days after the second leg of their play-off.
