It's won the accolade of Best Kebab House in Wales and for Sam's Grill House in Abertridwr near Caerphilly it's a real team effort.
The kebab shop scooped the prize at the eighth annual British Kebab Awards in London.
Open for six-and-a-half years, Sam's Grill is famed for its delicious doner or shish kebabs cooked over a charcoal grill and served with fresh naans.
It also serves family platters where you can try all the meats on offer while regulars also love the freshly-made pizzas too.
Thousands of members of the public voted for the 150 finalists to face the judges in the awards. There were eight regional awards for recognising the best kebab restaurants across the UK.

- Erhan’s Charcoal Grill, Ystrad Mynach
- Mira Restaurant, Cardiff
- Mezza Luna, Cardiff
- Wales Kebab, Caerphilly

- Pizza Choice, Cardiff
- Charcoal Grill, Caerphilly
When Taco Bell opened in Cardiff:
In 2019, judges found it so tough to decide on one Welsh winner that two kebab houses were named the best in Wales .
Golden BBQ on Caerphilly Road in Cardiff shared the title with Wales Kebab in Abertridwr, Caerphilly .
The kebab industry is worth more than £2.2 billion to the UK economy.
Ibrahim Dogus, Lambeth-based restaurateur and founder of the Kebab Awards said: “The kebab is an unsung cornerstone of high streets across the country, and the simply superb quality of this year’s entries shows that British small businesses can more than compete on a world stage of cuisine.
"What is also just as important is that we must not let Brexit hinder the UK’s flourishing restaurant and takeaway industries, which employ so many people often from migrant backgrounds.”
